We are bursting at the seams with excitement around here! There will be lots of changes in 2008 which I will be able to announce very soon, but in the meantime…first things first…we need help! Since so many of my loyal blog followers are my clients, friends and all around favorite people in the whole world, I thought this would be the best place to start.
We are currently hiring for the following positions…
Portrait Consultant – This part time position will handle portrait preview and ordering/sales appointments. You will meet with clients and present their images and make recommendations on products and frames that best suit their images and their needs.
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:
Love for portrait photography and children
Good interior design sense
Warm , friendly and outgoing personality
Self motivated
Detail oriented
Enthusiastic!!!!!
Hours will be approximately 15-20 hours/week. Computer and design experience is a plus. I am willing to train the right person.
Photographer’s Assistant – We will be hiring this position over the next few months. This part time position would be perfect for an aspiring photographer who wants to use some of their creative juices and have the opportunity to work in a professional studio environment. Hours will be mostly Fridays and Saturdays. Job duties will include:
Assisting with children’s portrait sessions
Setting up equipment for on location shoots
Greeting clients and helping with clothing choices
Collecting client information packets
Scheduling sales appointments
Playing/interacting with children to get great smiles and expressions!!!
Job skills include: the ability to work with small children, a happy, warm and friendly personality, a love for portrait photography, working knowledge of digital SLR cameras and studio lighting, computer experience, knowledge of Photoshop and graphic design skills a plus! I am willing to train the right person. Hours will be approximately 10 hours/week.

Jenny, I'm so happy to hear about your success! You've turned your love of photography into a wonderful business. Yeah! If I didn't have a newborn, I would apply for the job in a heartbeat!
I absolutely love all of my photos and can't wait to do another photo shoot already :-). Thank you for the add'l pics. Let me know when you have time to photograph August and Max - no rush.
